A retainer fee is a monthly fee. It’s perfect for those who know that they will need design services throughout the year and want to reserve a creative professional’s time. Since its purpose is to retain the designer/photographer, it is paid up front each month before work is ordered. Essentially, you are “pre-ordering” time versus a service. Since I will anticipate  a preset number of hours of work from you, I will block out my schedule with the appropriate time each month. This gives me the ability to plan my workload accordingly. Which gives you the certainty of a pre-established amount of work each month without having to worry about what else is “in the queue” ahead of you. It’s more efficient for all involved. 

Graphic Design – logos for new products/services, icons, and typography treatments.

Print Materials – sell sheets, direct mailers, brochures, newsletters

Digital Materials – Social Media graphics, Blog Banners, and other web designs

Web Updates & Maintenance – content, graphics and web maintenance can be provided for select customers.

We start with an initial strategy call to determine your goals and map out a clear route to achieving your goals. We will follow a simple four step method to materializing your vision. 

Step One: Discovery

The discovery phase is where we discuss your organization and assess your needs at the time of the call. The first one will be longer because I’ll have more questions and future ones will be job requests and check-ins. 

Step Two: Execute

I go to work. This is the design phase. I get to work creating what’s necessary to accomplish our upcoming goal. (Logo design, website, flyers, print media, etc.) within the deadlines we set forth. Some requests will have longer turnaround times than others. Deadlines will be set with each meeting. We will also workout turnaround times for incoming requests.

Step Three: Review

This is the phase where you review and give feedback on drafts. You and I will work together to create the look and feel of your organization.

Step Four: Delivery

This is where we package and deliver the final product to you.

Retainer Program Details:

6 month minimum commitment. 

At the end of 6 months, we will re-evalaute the program you are to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. After that, we can continue on at 6 or move to 12 month commitments. 

Each retainer includes a set amount of work agreed up on by both parties. 

Overage for additional projects outside of the agreed upon scope will be billed at a discounted hourly rate.

All retainers, initiate with a $300 setup fee along with your first month.
